Drinking Water
Water Tanks & Boreholes
Tired and thirsty, Jesus sat by a well while His disciples traveled to a nearby village. It was nearly noon, the hottest part of the day, and a Samaritan woman came to draw water. Against custom, Jesus spoke to her, asking for a drink of water. He soon revealed that “whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life” (John 4:13-14, NKJV). kids4school gives children in school safe water to drink and in doing so help pave the way for Christ’s overflowing love. Costs range from £2500 for a concrete rainwater storage tank serving a school to £10,000 or more for a deep-drilled borehole and pump that can supply clean water for an entire community.
